After a flying start, this Slimming World malarkey is getting a little harder. I weighed in at club this morning and again I had only lost half a pound. Whilst this brings my total weight loss in 4 weeks to 8lbs (a result I can only be happy about), this is less impressive if I say in the last 3 weeks I’ve lost just 2.5lbs.
The story is the old one, after being highly motivated and sticking to the plan religiously in the first week, little by little my motivation has waned and old habits have crept back in to my eating and drinking habits. For instance, I am allowed 5-15 syns a day but I tend to have 18 (every day), so not the end of the world but just enough to ensure that I don’t get larger losses each week.
The difference this time though is the weekly weigh-in, it is always there at the back of my mind and keeping me on the straight and narrow (well my version of the straight and narrow, which isn’t very straight or very narrow!).
This week I am hoping to exercise more than last week (when I was feeling a bit below par) which might get the scales moving, even if I lose 1lb instead of half I will be a happy camper.
