Well it’s been a while since I’ve had a full week’s running to report on, but last week I achieved it … yippee.
It is 11 weeks until my first half marathon and so last week I needed to start following my 12 week training plan. The plan required me to run 3 times (2 miles/2 miles and 3 miles) and I did indeed achieve this mileage. However, it wasn’t as smooth as all that as I didn’t take my first run until Thursday, meaning I had to run 3 times in 4 days. The first two runs were pleasant enough, on Thursday and Saturday morning with my Mum in the sun in the park, but the last was less fun, at 7:30 on Sunday morning after a bottle of red the night before and on the dreadmill!
However, I DID IT!
In other news I didn’t lose any weight at weigh-in on Friday, this is no surprise as I had my lovely son visiting last week and we went for it on the food and drink front, therefore a maintain was as good as a loss for me. I have also stopped listening to my hypnotherapy app – I couldn’t do it for a couple of days and then next thing I know it’s been a whole week, therefore I think I need to start again tomorrow.
