Tick, tock, tick, tock – it is time for me to choose diet number 9 out of 12 in my 12 months, 12 diets challenge.
I have an incredibly busy 3 weeks coming up where I will have little choice over the type of food I will be eating, but will at least be able to control the portion sizes that I eat (in theory at least!!). So this seems like a good month to try calorie counting and what better app to use to help me in my quest than My Fitness Pal?
I will still be weighing in at Slimming World (albeit at the weekend as I can’t make my usual Friday group) and I will certainly not be confessing to them that I am calorie counting for a while, I don’t want to be excommunicated after all….

p.s. I lost 1.5lbs at club today – not quite the 4.5lbs that I put on last week but it always goes on more quickly than it comes off, probably because I’m more committed to putting it on than taking it off!
