It all started with a chat with my hubby whilst on a gorgeous country walk around a local National Trust property.
I was telling him about my love for Step Aerobics in the 90s and how it was the only aerobics class I could manage because of my lack of coordination and two left feet.
Cue the lightbulb moment – I still have my Step in our little home gym (otherwise known as the garage) which I currently store weights on and maybe they have Step workouts on Amazon Prime that I could download.
So Stepping is what I’ve been doing with myself this week and I still love it! So much so that I’ve purchased the Cher DVD that I used to follow way back when, although my 90s version was most definitely a VHS!
My 40 minute workout this morning burnt over 350 calories so what’s not to love?
The only problem – two annoying whippets – one gets so scared of the noise he stands behind the step as he thinks only I can save him. The other thinks I’ve invented a new game and jumps up at me while I’m stepping away. Oh well, these things were sent to try me and I love them dearly really.
In other news, I maintained my weight at Slimming World this week which means I’ve not lost in 4 weeks and not seen ‘new’ weight since July. I’m remaining sanguine about it, this week will be my week I’m sure.
